The Nanaimo Downtown Farmers' Market is one of the youngest markets on the island, being only in it's tenth year. From a beginning of only a few vendors, we have grown to become a market of over fifty full time vendors, and many drop ins, giving us an ever changing facade.

Farm Fresh Produce

Our motto is "We Make It, We Bake It, We Grow It".

Freshness and quality is what our market is about. You will find just-picked goodness every Friday from April to October, from our producers. You'll find a wide variety of flavorful, and fresh fruits and vegetables each week.

Vancouver Island Farmers are committed to bringing you their best produce. Most of our growers use environmentally friendly controls, and choose fruit and vegetable varieties for their flavor and nutrition.

Farm Fresh Eggs and Dairy

Farm fresh eggs and cheese are other commodities to be found each Friday at the Nanaimo Downtown Farmer's Market.
